What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Rhema Word Restoration Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

  • We believe that God is a spirit, infinite, eternal and unchanging in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and that He’s self-existing
  • We believe in the salvation of mankind, and that the only way we are saved, according to the word of God, is by grace after faith alone; It is the gift of God
  • We believe in repentance, justification, sanctification and the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire
  • We believe in the Godhead, but that Jesus is the fullness thereof
  • We believe in the gifts of the spirit
  • We believe in water baptism by immersion, but only after repentance of sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ
  • We believe in the ordination of Bishops, Elders, and Pastors
  • We believe in the ecclesiastical offices of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, and Teachers for the perfection of the ministry and the edification of the body of Christ
  • We believe in worship, fellowship, friendship, leadership, discipleship, and all should be done to the glory of the almighty God
  • We believe that the tenth is the Lord’s and each member is required to pay their tithes (tenth) and offerings
  • We believe that everything done should be done with the spirit of excellence and done heartedly unto God and not unto man
  • We believe in living holy and righteous according to the example our Lord and Savior have exemplified (dealing mainly with the heart)
  • We believe that the Sabbath Day is a day of rest and belong to the Lord, but worship should be given to Him every day
  • We believe that every man should be persuaded by his own mind, according to the truths of the scripture
  • We, moreover, under the unction and anointing of the Holy Ghost, do henceforth engage in the sacraments and ordinances enacted by Christ and practices, which are Baptism, Communion, and Holy Feasts which were instituted by God to follow forever (Passover, Unleaven Bread, First Fruit, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacle)
